The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA); is focused on ensuring to protect at highest level human health and consumer interests in every field regarding food safety within framework of harmonization process to EU standards on the trainings of those employees in the sector in order to accomplish this target.
In order positive developments can be ensured in floury food production assurance, a standard structure can be established towards quality and human health can be protected in the society through such developments, the Professional qualifications of youth working in the sector must be developed in educational media in line with the information era. Nevertheless, in order to provide more modern, dynamic, professional medium in the floury food production sector, good practices and new methods must be shared among the youth and integrated in the daily working life.
The objective of the project with respect to the problems specified: This is to ensure protection of public health through quality assurance and safety in the food production sector by means of developing the professional qualifications in media fit to technological developments of the youth working/who want to work in the floury food production sector, however who couldn’t complete their education or unemployed youth.
Contribution of the project to the solution of the problems specified;
1 – The need determining works will ensure specifying the actual needs of training of the youth, employers and sector thus it will determine the road map in preparing the training modules in line with the needs determined as the project’s building block,
2 – The E -Learning will ensure the youth to use the ICTs open training sources in a more strategic, integrated way. By developing their professional qualifications will meet the qualified staff need of the floury food production sector, will increase the quality feature in the sector.
3 – It will encourage youth to use technology as part of the training in daily life through mobile application and will ensure disadvantaged youth to access training under equal conditions, chances, will ensure sustainability of Project impact and outputs
4 – LTTA will bring together the youth possessing various different food culture, professional qualifications hence it will ensure it be tested the training module prepared through interaction and learning among cultures. Testing the availability and reliability of the modules will ensure establishing E learning system of high quality and of high impact rate. The system which would render service as distance learning open source, will accomplish the target of recognizing to everybody equal training right under equal chances, will encourage youth for ICT based learning. It will ensure the sector to switch onto more dynamic and innovative structure by increasing the attraction of youth to join the production sector.
National workshops, will ensure establishment of a bridge between the parties by bringing together in the same platform the trade unions, employer unions in the floury food sector, public authorities and youth, whereas, it will encourage joint work to solve the problems impeding establishment of more dynamic,qualified structure in sector to protect public health.
Target groups of the project; the youth working / who want to work / in the floury food production sector but who couldn’t complete their education due to any reason.
No matter what the food culture of countries could be, floury food occupies the first line with 63% of food consumption in the whole world. (Food safety EU HR). In the food safety policy of the EC targets have been determined to ensure human health and interests of consumers regarding food, be protected at high level. Nevertheless, the World Health Assembly has taken a decision recognizing that food safety is a vital public responsibility and it has been emphasized that international organizations, producers and consumers must be in cooperation. As it is already known in the global researches and results of these; floury food consumption occupies the first line in the food chain with respect to other food products. Therefore, adaptation of the youth involved in the sector must be ensured towards increasing productivity by making them to acquire new skills which would make it easier for them to get adapted to the developing technology base and the global transformations of manpower (EU 2020 str).
The Project has been set-up on the target of 5 countries to accomplish the common objectives in order to ensure food safety in EU, to protect public health, to develop the qualifications of the youth by using ICT based innovative methods and techniques in line with the needs and expections of the youth, to increase rate of employment, to increase the synergy among youth of different cultures and the right of equal education for everybody under equal chances as specified in the EU 2020 target.
